Practical Tools for Real Landlord Decisions
We built the landlord toolkit we wished existed: plain-English guidance, practical tools, worked examples, and local experience from people who deal with rented property every day. And we look at the issues just as any landlord does - because we are landlords ourselves.
Who We Are
We are Northwood Leicester — a local lettings agency with over twenty-five years experience helping landlords manage rented property with care, structure and commercial common sense.
We built this site because landlords need more than generic advice. They need plain-English guidance, practical tools and real-world insight on the issues that now shape property investment: compliance, rent reviews, tax pressure, regulation, possession risk, tenant management and long-term returns.
As landlords ourselves, we understand that a rental property is not just an address on a spreadsheet. It is an investment, a responsibility and, at times, a source of genuine stress. Our aim is to help landlords make clearer decisions, spot risks earlier and stay in control of their property plans.
This toolkit brings together the experience we use every day inside our lettings business — whether you already work with us, are considering professional management, or simply want to understand your options more clearly, this toolkit is here to help you feel better informed and more in control.
Our Mission
Landlords ask important questions every day — about rent, regulation, tenants, tax, repairs, risk and long-term returns. Our mission is to help them get to clearer answers faster, with plain-English guidance, practical tools and insight drawn from real lettings experience.
Our Vision
Now almost more than ever before, landlords are facing profound change, and too much useful expertise remains hidden inside agencies, legal updates and professional systems. Our vision is to open up that knowledge, share what we learn every day, and help landlords make better decisions with greater confidence.
